Situation in the ATP rankings:
John Isner – 18th
Rajeev Ram – 161st
John Isner has played very well recently. He has won against Seppi (26th ATP rank) at the French Open in staright sets, also Isner has won against Donaldson and F Lopez in the tournament in London. Later Isner had a solid start at Wimbledon eliminating Soeda and Ebden both in straight sets. He only lost to M Cilic in a very close match (6-7 7-6 4-6 7-6 10-12).
Rajeev Ram had no impressive wins recently and also he had problems with injury. He has retired from the match against S Groth in the beginning of June and hasn't played since then.
I expect Isner to continue his solid form and I expect him to record an easy win against Ram.
