The legendary Ryan Giggs has made a brilliant start to his managerial career as Man United thrashed Norwich 4-0 in interim boss’ first game in charge.
However, it looks highly likely that United will hire more experienced permanent coach for next season even if Giggs is able to win the remaining fixtures this season.
The manager constantly linked to the managerial hot seat is Netherlands coach Louis van Gaal and the latest reports are positive.
According to Daily Mirror, Man United are all set to secure three year €30m deal with Louis van Gaal within next few days.
The Dutch coach has the experience of winning multiple league titles as well as the biggest prize in Europe, Champions League. Still, the Manchester United job might be the toughest of his career.
As per the provided link, the United board has given Giggs no guarantee whether he will be part of the coaching team next season as it all depends on Louis van Gaal. However, it is likely that van Gaal may keep Giggs.
The new manager will get the heavy transfer funds to sign top stars and with Van Gaal in charge, United will surely become an attractive prospect for players which was not the case under the management of David Moyes.
United are still in transition and it will be fair to say that they will not become title contenders right from the word go but with Van Gaal, they will have the right man to take them back where they belong.
