David Moyes is all but gone from Manchester United but the transfer deals he was working on are still well and truly functional for the betterment of the club.
One defender United have been following for quite some time is Southampton’s Luke Shaw.
The teenage star has been sensational this season and hence has caught the attention of top clubs like Manchester United and Chelsea.
Shaw’s performance are likely to guarantee him a place in this year’s team of the year. Not only that, he might be going to the World Cup with the England national side as well.
Such has been the quality of the young full back that a mammoth price tag of 30 million pounds has been placed on him.
United are in desperate need of defenders to improve the department and it seems that they are favorites to sign Luke Shaw from Saints.
According to Daily Star, Luke Shaw is all set to seal €36m move to Manchester United in the upcoming summer transfer window.
Premier league leaders Liverpool and Spanish giants Real Madrid are also interested in luring the England international but the Red Devils are in pole position to lure him to Old Trafford.
Even though Man United will not be taking part in next year’s Champions league, they are going to offer Shaw an attractive contract, one that he cannot refuse.
