Liverpool continue their fantastic winning run in the premier league to maintain their pace in the title race.
Red registered their 6th straight victory in the league by scoring no less than 6 goals against relegation fighting Cardiff side.
The amazing Liverpool side are making records for all the right reasons this season and at the moment, they are unstoppable.
82 – Liverpool have broken their own PL record of scoring most goals in a season. They surpassed the 77 goal mark set back in 2008-2009 season. For now, they are leading the goal scoring charts in PL as well.
22 – Reds need 22 goals in the last 8 league games to break Chelsea’s 103 goal record in the premier league. In such form and with 5 more home games to go, it is a major possibility.
28 – Suarez is all set to break Liverpool’s record of most goals in a season set by Fowler in 1990s when he scored 28 goals. Luis has 8 more games left of course and he needs only 1. He is currently leading the race to win European Golden Boot. Not to forget, he has not scored a single goal via Penalty Kick.
11 – Suarez also leads the assist chart in the premier league having provided no less than 11 assists. The best player by some distance.
11 – Liverpool have scored 4 or more goals no less than 11 times in the league this season. Remarkable
5 – Liverpool have scored 5 or more goals three times away from home this season. The victims Spurs, Stoke and Cardiff.
6 – Liverpool have won 6 back to back PL games in the league after 8 long years. The last time they were able to achieve the feat was way back in 2005-2006 season under Benitez. They went onto win 10 straight games in that streak.
6 – Suarez netted his 6th hat-trick in the premier league, now level with Manchester United’s Wayne Rooney.
Do not count Liverpool out of the title race, they are roaring forward at the moment and despite having few defensive concerns, outscoring every opponent with ease.
