Chelsea must Utilize this German as a Striker

Schurrle ChelseaJose Mourinho has one of the best attacking midfield lineups in the world at his disposal and overall a brilliant team. However, he lacks a prolific goalscorer upfront.
No one has been able to replace the legendary Didier Drogba as everyone else just does not fit the system.
Their best striker for now is playing on loan for Everton, Romelu Lukaku has similar traits to Drogba and should be the future of the club.
Nevertheless, talking about this season, if Blues are not going to sign a top quality striker in January transfer window then they should utilize German international Schurrle as a lone striker upfront.
The likes of Fernando Torres, Demba Ba and Samuel Eto’o have been largely inconsistent and Chelsea lack a striker like Suarez, Aguero or Van Persie upfront.
Last season Schurrle was mainly used as a secondary striker at Bayer Leverkusen and in Bundesliga, he directly contributed in no less than 18 goals (scoring 11, setting up 7).
Since Mourinho wants to use his pace in the attacking midfield, Schurrle has normally started as a winger who tracks back as well. The Kaiser has only scored 3 goals in 16 league appearances this season.
However, now is the time Mourinho must try Schurrle as an out and out striker if they fail to lure a striker this winter.
As far as attacking midfield is concerned, Hazard and Oscar have cemented their place in Mourinho’s setup and Willian is doing great lately.
In-front of the trio, Schurrle should be given the chance having all the traits needed. Surely, with the strikers misfiring, there is no harm in doing that.

Surely, Shurrle will prove to be the missing link in the chelsea attack, where torres, ba, eto’o has fluffed and puffed to in disappointment. Pls mr. Mou try shurrle and i bet, he will prove u right.

Lukaku is an Emile Heskey in the making, not a Drogba.
