Manchester United Finally Set to Sign €20m Star for Cheap

Ten Days in the winter transfer window and Manchester United fans are still waiting for the first January signing that will improve their squad.
David Moyes’s side is in desperate need of improvements in midfield and defensive department and must lure stars soon to stop the alarming slide.
They have been lacking creativity in central midfield and the defense have crumbled more than a few times not just in front of quality oppositions but also because of silly errors.
According to latest reports, Manchester United are finally set to sign Argentine and Benfica’s star defender Ezequiel Garay.
United have been linked with him for a long time and they sent scouts on at least three occasions to monitor Garay.
The 27 year old Argentinian has a release clause of €20 million in his contract. However, according to Metro, David Moyes is close to sealing a deal for cheap at just €10m for the highly rated tall defender.
None of Man United’s center backs have been consistent this season. Evans has perhaps been the best and veterans Vidic and Ferdinand have been really average.
Garay will surely improve English champion’s defense and will come handy from set pieces. He has played in all 14 Primeira Liga games for the Portuguese side this season, and has scored two goals as well.
Moyes needs to improve the squad soon to save the season for Manchester United. Red Devils do not have that habit of changing managers frequently but Moyes is surely testing everyone’s patience.
Hopefully, the United faithful will see the signing of Garay soon.
