Why PL Teams Would Fear Tottenham Hotspur

Everton and Spurs fought out a 0-0 draw at the Goodison today and once against Spurs showed no signs of clicking well.
Their defense has been fantastic this season and that combined with a lot of luck has helped them win many points.
The North Londoners have not played better football than Liverpool and Chelsea but find themselves joint second with those two ahead on only goal difference.
Are the fans unhappy with their performances, may be yes but do they care, may be not as they will surely be satisfied with their team’s position and points after 10 games, excluding the fact that they are still behind arch rivals Arsenal who are unstoppable in the league at the moment.
For now, Spurs do not seem like a side that any team will fear but here is why PL Teams would fear them.
Having spent more than 100m on signing quality players, mainly attacking, Spurs have not been able to gel in well, yet they have grinded out results.
Lamela, Eriksen, Soldado are top class players but for now finding it hard settling in the premier league. Not every player settles in immediately, even Olivier Giroud took his time for Arsenal and Spurs fans should be patience.
Rivals are aware of the fact that mentioned players are capable of winning the game single handedly. It is only a matter of time.
They are so high in the league with not much productivity from their attack. One odd goal and then not conceding have helped them.
However, when the time comes that their attack also starts to come together, then Villas Boas’s men can beat any team and can really cause havoc. Sooner or later that time will come.
