All eyes are on the fixture at the Emirates where two of the most impressive teams collide in top of table clash.
Arsenal and Liverpool have shown consistency early on this season and are flying high.
After 9 games, not many could have guessed that United and City will be behind gunners and Reds.
Gunners suffered league cup exit last night against Chelsea and that’s their 2nd defeat in last 3 games. They were not even highly impressive against Palace.
The best news for Liverpool is that their Brazilian maestro Coutinho will be back for the important game. However that means one player has to be sacrificed from the players that started against West Brom last weekend.
If Rodgers opts to bring Coutinho direct into the starting XI, then the player that is likely to be sacrificed is Jordan Henderson.
SAS are working perfectly fine and Rodgers is likely to maintain the 3-4-1-2 formation for the game. Gerrard who was utilized as an AM against West Brom will come back to central midfield to leave central attacking role for Coutinho.
Hendo and Lucas were both impressive versus Steve Clarke’s men, in fact, Henderson was better than the Brazilian. However, in a difficult fixture against Arsenal that too in their own backyard, Reds will need defensive cover more and Lucas is the natural option.

I think you will find that Rodgers will use the 3-1-4-2 system that was deployed vs west brom which we keep coutinho on the bench until gerrard tires in the second half at which point Rodgers will revert to a 3-4-1-2 with Hendo dropping alongside Lucas
well, i do think its a good idea!!! Because we need somebody who can wiggle his way through the arsenal midifield and defence.
For me, Lucas was the best player on the pitch along side Luis. Obviously Luis got the goals and rightly so will take all the plaudits but Lucas was absolutely awesome that day. I wouldn’t have Coutinho starting as we need Hendo’s drive and energy to keep Arsenal under pressure. That said if Johnno isn’t fit to play then Hendo may have to play RWB and then Allen or Coutinho comes in depending on fitness levels.
I’d keep the same team if all players are fit. Coutinho off the bench with 30mins to go will destroy Arsenal’s tired legs!
yeah,nice line up but still start hendo cus contiho might not cope with the pace of the game. not forgetting he just got back from injury.i think brenda should bring in him 2nd half of teh game.
Think enrique should replace cissoko and coutinho come in as a sub
There’s no way BR will drop Henderson to the bench in a high tempo game where he needs high pressing,so i think he will revert to 4 3 3 to accomodate coutinho in a front three formation.
I think Johnson can go LWB and then Hendo on the RWB then we can have Coutinho behind SAS, no need to drop anyone in the CM
I believe the best thing to do is to go back to our 4-5-1 formation,in this way we can accomodate coutinho and the SAS, having sturridge upfront while suarez, coutinho and hendo support him.

I think the best lineup to face arsenal would be mignolet,jonhson,agger,skrtel,sakho,lucas,gerrald,hendo,Allen ,Suarez & Sturbridge .Rogers must go for a 4-4-2.Coutinho to start on the bench .Lucas and Allen can play both as defensive midfielders,this can allow Johnson and agger to attack as defensive wing backs.Agger to operate from left back position ,it wl be hard for arsenal to break our defence,Gerrald and hendo can bomb forward from the middle.
Hendo should not be seated i think coutinho should start off from the waiting bench and may be come in after the first half since he is not yet fit like the other fellow players but the formation of 4-4-2 should be considered that’s the only way we can gun the gunners down otherwise Arsenal has a good attacking side and they score from all positions all their players score they play a free role
Sakho should be replaced by Agger n coutinho should replace stevie G in d 2nd half our formation of last weekend should be maintained.
I think we should only replace cissocko, and countiho should come in second half.And we should maintain the same formation, so that we can keep the momentum going.

I think we should use this lineup against the gunners-Mignolet,Toure,Skrtel,Sahko,Enrique,lucas,Gerrard,Hendo,Coutinho and SAS.So that we can gun the gunner’s to take 3 pts !!!
