Chelsea young star Kevin De Bryune finds himself in a complex situation at Stamford Bridge where he is not getting enough playing time.
Jose Mouirnho has more than a few quality attacking midfielders at disposal and when star player Juan Mata is struggling to earn a place then one can understand the dilemma Belgian international finds himself in.
De Bryune is a quality youngster who features regularly for national side but Blues boss Mourinho is not impressed with him. The Belgian star has only played in 3 league games, provided an assist but still has not hit top form.
Jose criticized him after his average performance against Swindon in league cup and the player is frustrated because of less playing time. His dad recently claimed that De Bryune may look for options if things do not change.
Liverpool are looking for an attacking midfielder, players like Pastore and Vietto have been linked lately but Reds must concentrate on De Bryune’s situation as well.
He scored no less than 13 goals and provided 16 assists in all competitions last season. Contributed directly in 19 league goals for Dortmund. Above all, after signing for Chelsea he did claim that he supports Liverpool.
Liverpool have all the reasons to move for him in the January transfer window. He might be interested if Reds make a move but will Mourinho want to strengthen a rival, we will have to wait and see.
Dortmund were also heavily linked with him in Summer and would want him if he is available. Hence Liverpool should act swiftly and must try to lure the youngster.
