Valencia’s Adil Rami has been upset and frustrated as the club let go several stars this summer causing the team to turn average.
The French star has been disappointed to an extent that he opened up and spoke against the club’s transfer dealings as well as current coach Miroslav Djukic.
Rami claimed:
“In the dressing room there is only confusion since we lost Soldado, Costa and Albelda.”
“Djukic (Manager) doesn’t say things to your face”
Express suggest that according to Super Deporte, the Spanish club has not only fined him but has put him on for sale in the upcoming transfer window in January as well.
Arsenal alongside Barcelona and Manchester City are reportedly interested in hiring the services of the center back.
City already have depth plus Barca are also monitoring Liverpool’s Agger and Chelsea’s David Luiz.
Wenger always has that connection with French players and that may as well help him in securing a deal for Adil Rami provided the big guns do not splash heavy cash and provide him heavy wages.
Gunners need depth in their defensive department and 27 year old is an experienced player to add.
Rami featured in 25 league appearances for Valencia last season and scored 2 goals as well. Another alternative for Arsenal is Basel’s youngster Fabian Schar. We shall see how the saga unfolds in January.
