Sooner or Later, Manchester United Should Sign this €45m Star

Sooner or Later, Manchester United Should Sign €45m LewandowskiAfter few blips in the start of new season under new manager David Moyes, Manchester United are back in the rhythm and are winning games.
Their attack is heavily dependent on two world class players. One, Wayne Rooney and the second is Dutch star Robin van Persie.
Latest reports suggest that Manchester United want to further reinforce their attack and will again make a move for Polish star Robert Lewandowski in January.
Although that is highly unlikely because the Dortmund striker will be cup tied in the Champions league, still sooner or later, Manchester United should sign the €45m Star.
Van Persie is 30 years old and going well but for how long can he continue his top form and avoid injuries given his age. May be, one or two more years or perhaps less than that. United will have to sign a world class goal scorer upfront and Lewandoeski completely fits the bill.
The 25 year old Poland international has been scoring goals for fun in Germany and was one of their best players last season in Bundesliga as well as Champions League.
According to Lewandowski, he rejected the likes of Chelsea, United and Real Madrid in the latest transfer window. However, he will soon move on from Dortmund, and that can happen as soon as this January.
Bayern Munich and Real Madrid will arguably be giving Manchester United toughest competition to hire the services of one of the best finishers around.
Red Devils are aware of his qualities and must move swiftly to ensure that they do not lose out on Robert.

It’s not going to happen. The player doesn’t want to play for anyone but Bayern. Why move to United in January and not be able to play in the champions league for the rest of the season when he can play out the rest of the season in Dortmund and then hop skip and jump his way to Munich

It’s high time for united to know that they should go for world class players like roberto himself, united miss out on ozil this sumer and fabrigas which affected them indirectly so they should learn how to attract big name at oldtrafford.

We need a left back Coentrao on a loan with view to a permanent move would be ideal but I like Filipe Luis too; hes two footed and a far better defender than either of them, plus Athletico would probably be prepared to sell for £15-20m in cash.
With Ferdinand retiring, Vidic will need a new partner. I like Evans, Jones and Smalling but Im just not convinced by any of them yet. Its ok being a young c/b at a smaller club with less expectation where you can learn your trade by making mistakes but you can’t learn on the job at United. Jones is very injury prone and Smalling has had his share of time in the physio room. Evans seems tougher and more determined than either but hes not the tallest or quickest for a c/b.
If there is one thing the last transfer window told us its that, despite all the talk about Moyes having an unlimited budget, The Glazers don’t want to pay more than £30m for anybody, and would rather have 2 good players for £28m-£38m than one world class player for £40-50m. I really don’t expect United to change that budget in January and dont expect them to deal with the top clubs in Europe next time unless its a loan.
