He is what Arsenal Need, €45m Star Interested in Move

He is what Arsenal Need, €45m Star Interested in MoveArsenal’s new signing Mesut Ozil made an immediate impact on his debut for the gunners against Sunderland yesterday.
It took him only minutes to provide his first killer pass that lead to Giroud’s goal. Plus, he was involved in every attacking move for the London side.
Arsenal fans are delighted with the way things are going but the club surely needs to reinforce more to compete for the title.
Latest reports suggest that Ozil’s compatriot and former team mate at Real Madrid Sami Khedira is interested in moving to Arsenal.
Madrid rejected 40 million Euros bid submitted by Manchester United for the midfielder but now Arsenal are considered favorites to lure the €40m star.
Khedira is one of the best defensive midfielders around and that is one position Arsenal need to reinforce. However, they also need a striker to cover Giroud as well.
Wenger will not really have funds available to sign both top class striker and a center midfielder. Only one is possible.
With Giroud in such top form, he really does not need to sign someone who could be his replacement, but can sign a decent cover. On the other hand, cash can be splashed to bring Khedira home.
Rumours suggest that Arsenal can lure Khedira in January but we will have to see as the German will most probably be cup tied for the Champions League in winter. Will he be still willing to leave, or will Arsenal like to land him in Janaury, we shall see.

Please do your homework Arsenal have the money to afford more than just one more high value player, Ozil isn’t a one off. Gazides confirmed money not a problem a couple of months ago.

  2. Adah says:

What are you insinuating? The money is there, at least Gazidi said so. Even if there is no money borrow to fund some of these big talents to Emirates and their season returns like trophies, sales of shirts will pay for them. So Gunners no amount of excuses will sway us to that old ways of we been told no money.

Khedira will no way cost…€45m…United’s bid was a desperate one…no way wenger will pay that much for a midfielder…

Arsenal should make the effort to sign a quality centre back, defensive midfielder and a striker that’s the only way we will challenge for trophies there has to be such strength in depth to win more than one trophy a season if one. I think we should go German, Hummels, bender/Sami kerida and marco rues, I’d go Marco for a forward coz he can play up top or either wing unlike theo he won’t have a question mark over his head about leading the line. I think if it was Hummels, bender and Rues it would take £70m and would make us brilliant. All are aged 24 and have come through the German ranks with Ozil. Bring them on board and let’s win a trophy.

all u guyz, khedira or no khedira dts nt wat we d gooners need 4 trophy winnin.we’v flamini, arteta, diaby will b bck in Dec.so,we a striker lik suarez/rooney nd possible lewandoski.

I don’t think we have any problem in d midfild area any more.wenger just need to bring in Dimaria and suares to beef up the attack.

  12. Jack says:

Good player, though been around for a while. Ilkay Gundogan would be a better signing, and probably has more potential. It’s reported he’s stalling on signing a new contract as well so £20-30M would probably do the trick. Reus is a great shout as well – can’t see Dortmund becoming a feeder club to Arsenal though.
