Manchester United could only sign one major player this summer in the form of Marouane Fellaini. However, former Everton manager believes that Fellaini is not worth it.
Ex-Everton Boss Howard Kendall has claimed that Toffess got the better deal by signing quality players and letting go Fellaini at a huge price.
David Moyes who largely failed to lure many transfer targets had to finally go for the player he himself signed for Everton from Standard Liege.
Kendall claimed:
“Moyes wanted him and got him but I don’t think he’ll improve Manchester United,”
“I would put that deal down as a good sale by Everton at that money,” “And when I look at the players who came in, it was without a doubt a good window for Everton.”
Fellaini was arguably one of the best midfielders last season in English football but can he cope with the pressure of playing for the champions, we shall see.
The Belgian International is ready to make his debut for the Red Devils and that is likely going to be against Crystal Palace next weekend.
Moyes surely knows everything about Fellaini and how to utilize him, the quality is inevitable but will he be able to prove the doubters wrong, only time will tell.
