Theo Walcott and his Dream of Playing Centrally

Theo Walcott and his Dream of Playing CentrallyAs a football fan you will be well aware not only of Theo Walcott’s impressive turn of speed, but also of how much his game has improved in recent years. However, there are parts of Walcott’s game that can still be improved to make him even more potent.
He still dreams of playing centrally but there are certain aspects of his game that does not support his cause.
The weakest part of his game is awareness. That is one of the main reasons why he has not been really effective when playing as a central striker.
Ability to run on the wings is one thing but the ability to run through the defenders that too timely is something that Walcott is not good at.
Perhaps if he is given more time like Daniel Sturridge, he can be as fruitful as well but that does not seem to be happening with Giroud in form.
Another reason why Walcott is unable to play centrally is lack of natural strength. However he can be committed to a training schedule involving extra strength training in both his arms and legs, quite possibly boosted by the use of supplements. A few like Maxiraw shop creatine powder in his dietary regime can help.
The England international has an eye for goal, but he always seems to look for a pass when he actually has to shoot.
This means that he is not very confident at times and the strikers without confidence are usually not prolific. Look at Fernando Torres.
Close control and finishing are other important features that he lacks. Out wide you do have time to take a touch but that is not the case when you are in front of goal as defenders close you down immediately.
Arsene Wenger is right to utilize Walcott on the right wing and Theo must also focus on that position since it is the World Cup year and he surely wants to be playing after missing last one in 2010.
