Liverpool can Sign French Star for €4 Million

Liverpool can Sign French Star for €4 MillionBrendan Rodgers looks to continue his summer reinforcements and it looks likely that the merseysiders have secured yet another deal this summer. Reports suggest that Reds have reached an agreement to land Valencia left back Aly Cissokho on loan with an option to make the deal permanent next season.
Spanish paper Marca reports that it is only a matter of time for Cissokho to complete his loan deal with Liverpool and only a major twist can stop the deal which is not likely. On the other hand, it is reported that at the end of the campaign Liverpool can sign French star for €4 Million if they want.
For now, Valencia do not really need the left back because they have a host of players for that position according to manager Miroslav Djukic who claimed:

“On the left side are very well covered. Juan Bernat can play, so can Andres Guardado and Jeremy Mathieu also. It is a very well covered position” (Spanish Translated)

On the other hand, Jose Enrique was not really consistent for Liverpool last season and Brendan Rodgers has claimed that he is looking for a left back in the market. Rodgers stated:

“We probably need a bit more support – that extra bit of quality – at the top end of the field and that’s something we’ll look out for.”
“That’ll be mixed with needing cover in the left-back position – that’s something we’re looking at. It’s not really about numbers, it’s about quality.”

The 25 year old has been a consistent defender over the years and can prove fruitful for the Reds next season. If Cissokho’s loan spell does turn out to be successful then there is no point why Liverpool will not use the clause of signing him for €4 Million next season.
Liverpool will continue their pre-season tour tomorrow with a game against Melbourne Victory and their transfer activities are not going to end any sooner as well.
