The title may have scared a few Arsenal fans but for now, there are no rumors regarding Manchester City’s interest in Gonzalo Higuain. Over the years Gunners have sold numerous stars to Citizens and have lost certain transfer targets as well.
The sky blues have the tendency to pay more wages than Arsenal and also pay higher asking price to the clubs than the gunners. The same case may as well arrive if they show interest in Gonzalo Higuain and they can steal Arsenal’s prime transfer target.
Reports do suggest that Arsenal have perhaps agreed terms with Higuain but fee is still an issue. For gunner supporters, there is enough evidence that they should be scared of Manchester City in this scenario. Here is why.
City’s new boss Manuel Pellegrini managed Real Madrid in their 2009-2010 campaign and Gonzalo Higuain was his favorite striker.
The Los Blancos star made 32 league appearances that season and contributed directly in 32 goals, which included 27 goals and 5 assists. Not only that, Higuain topped their goal scoring charts and outscored star player and record signing Cristiano Ronaldo who could manage 26 league goals that season.
Fair to say, Pellegrini’s influence may as well turn the deal in City’s favor. Again, that is if he wants him.
Roberto Mancini sold star striker Mario Balotelli to mighty Rossoneri last winter and now reports suggest that Argentine forward Carlos Tevez is likely to leave City to join Italian champions Juventus.
Adding to that, the future of Bosnian striker Edin Dzeko is in doubt as well which means that only Aguero is confirmed for next season.
Given the availability of a top striker like Higuain in the transfer market, the idea of combining him with his compatriot Kun should cross Pellegrini’s mind and that might be brilliant prospect for them next season. Again, the asking price is no problem for them and same goes for wages.

Higuain’s is as good as been concluded for arsenal, don’t come up with write ups that suggest something contrary to this. Up gunners!
Dont see anything wrong here. Author has stated in the first line that there are no rumors never mind concrete reports.
I do feel that we will sign Higuain but City if interested can change things but that is not going to happen, they will go for CAVANI
Higuain is best for arsenal period!
Please, what is all these news again. Why do you people choose to be antagonist to these Arsenal club. Arsenal is only waiting for coach Carlo Ancelloti to sanction the deal, and you people are looking to be pulling things backward. Higuain is already an Arsenal player, and is coming to bang-in goals for the gunners.
Wt are u saying again, Higguian is arsenal player. Up gunners
God almighty will help us in this matter. I don’t know what Ís causing the delay since all this day.

The respondents have said it all. Why is the author selling ideas into the heads of people at Man City? Obviously in his thoughts, Higuain is too big for Arsenal. I see this topic as being unfair.
I’m pretty sure that arsenal will get their man
why have you decided to create unnecessary rumor giving other clubs idea that the deal can be hijacked.
Higuaiiiiiin is already ours
This author is anti-Arsenal. But shame Higuain is already Arsenal’s property. Poor you!
