Manchester City beat Madrid to lure Wonder Boy Isco

Isco is without doubt one of the hottest young prospects in the world right now and reports suggest that the Malaga playmaker has opted to sign for English side Manchester City. Major European clubs were after his signature but the multi millions of Citizens have got their man.
Having lost the premier league title to rivals Manchester United, City have already started reinforcing their squad. The sky blues have sealed two deals already, signing Fernandinho from Shakhtar and pacy winger Sevilla’s Jesus Navas. Now Manchester City beat Real Madrid to lure wonder boy Isco.
According to El Confidencial, the versatile talent Isco will soon sign for the English club and reiterate City’s manager Manuel Pellegrini has played a decisive role in convincing the player to sign for him and not for Spanish giants Real Madrid.
Pellegrini already has top quality squad at his disposal and the newcomers have surely amplified their chances of regaining the premier league title next season.
Isco has all the traits of a natural winger, i.e. speed, trickery, crossing. Considered by many as the “New Fabregas”, inevitably defines how good he is at passing the ball and last but not the least turns into a prolific center attacking midfielder who can open up defenses and score goals. Such abilities make him priceless but Malaga are already in financial crisis and are now losing their prized asset to City.
The surprising fact is that El Confidencial reports the Spaniard will sign for the Citizens for a price of 25 million Euros, although reportedly Malaga were looking for a sum above 30 million or so. Nevertheless, he is worth every penny and is expected to shine in the premier league next season.
City are in no mood of stopping their business yet as their rivals are looking to reinforce as well. On the other hand, the return of Jose Mourinho means that Chelsea will surely be challenging Manchester clubs right till the end for the premier league crown.
Real Madrid tried hard to sign Isco as they dealt with his father and lawyer but they already have players like Ozil, Kaka in that position. Adding to that, City’s proposal and the efforts of Pellegrini helped City seal the deal. The sky blues supporters surely cannot wait to see Isco in action next season.
