Arsenal are keen on signing a world class striker this summer. With the available budget, the gunners can lure numerous quality stars but a top quality forward should be the priority as they badly missed Robin van Persie last season.
Fiorentina’s Stevan Jovetic and Real Madrid’s Gonzalo Higuain have been linked with a move to Emirates Stadium. The Argentine international will be leaving Madrid this summer, is considering options and much to the delight of gunner supporters, Arsenal is one of them.
Wenger is looking to reinforce the squad this summer to compete for the premier league title next season and for that a striker like Higuain can surely boost the chances.
The good news for gunner fans is that Star forward has himself showed interest in signing for Arsenal. Higauin stated:
“Arsenal? They would suit me, I’m still young and I have goals”
“There are many possibilities. I want to go to a league where I’ll be put to the test”
Higuain is a quality finisher and the news of his departure has drawn interest from major European clubs. As, Higuain claims to move for a league where he will be put to test then what better place then coming to toughest league in the world, premier league.
Italian champions Juventus have reportedly shown keen interest in hiring the services of Los Blancos star and can give Arsenal tough competition.
The only question, is Higuain the kind of player who can settle in Arsenal’s style of play? If Arsene Wenger thinks so then he should waste no time and make an official enquiry for the 25 year old striker before other suitors jump in.
