Tottenham are Favorites to Sign $27million Star this Month

Tottenham were interested in signing England international and Everton star Ross Barkley in the summer transfer window but the move could not happen.
Now that the winter transfer window is open, the versatile midfielder is once again linked with a move away from Goodison Park.
According to Mirror, Chelsea are looking to sign the 24-year-old star but Tottenham are favorites to secure his signature if he leaves the Toffees this month.

Ross was in top form for Everton in the last campaign under the management of Ronald Koeman. In 32 league starts, he directly contributed in 14 goals (5 goals and 9 assists).
In the summer, he opted not to sign a new deal with the Merseysiders and his current deal will expire in June. The Three Lions star has not played a single game this season due to a long term injury but now he is returning to full fitness and would like to play regularly in order to earn a place in England’s World Cup squad.
Last month, Graeme Bailey, who used to cover exclusive reports for Goal.com, reported for the Gambling Times that Everton are demanding a fee worth 20 million pounds ($27million) to let Barkley leave in January.
