According to Turkish source Fotomac, Tottenham are preparing an offer worth 10 million euros for former Hamburg midfielder Tolgay Arslan, who is rated at 12 million euros ($14million) by Besiktas.
The 27-year-old star is a versatile talent, who can effectively play as a defensive midfielder and also as a creative central midfielder. He started 18 league games and provided 7 assists to help Besiktas win the title last season.
In the current campaign, so far, Arslan has played 15 games in all competition and he is yet to score a goal or provided an assist.
As far as Spurs are concerned, Pochettino has already got quality midfielders like Eric Dier, Victor Wanyama and Moussa Dembele in the team. Wanyama has only featured in 2 games this season and he is out after suffering a long term knee injury.
In your opinion, is Tolgay good enough to improve Tottenham’s midfield?
