€125m Star Values Liverpool Offer – Can Say Goodbye to his Club Today

Jurgen Klopp DortmundLiverpool will need to sign a top quality star if Philippe Coutinho leaves the club this summer and according to reports, the Reds are targeting Ivan Rakitic.
According to Diario Gol, the Croatian international did not have a great pre-season, he was average vs Madrid in the first leg of the Spanish Super Cup and his future is up in the air after the arrival of Paulinho, who could replace him in the starting XI.
In such a scenario, the Spanish source have mentioned that Liverpool are trying to sign him to strengthen their midfield for the Champions League. It is stated that Klopp is satisfied with his attack and would be delighted to have Rakitic with the likes of Can and Henderson in the central midfield.

Furthermore, Diario Gol has stated that Rakitic values the offer from the Merseysiders and can say goodbye to Barcelona today (on Wednesday). Perhaps the Spanish source have claimed that tonight’s second leg of the Spanish Super Cup could be Rakitic’s last game for the Catalan giants.
The 29-year-old former Sevilla star is a proven quality midfielder with ample Champions League experience, hence, his signing could be very fruitful for the Anfield club.
Last season, Rakitic scored 8 goals and provided 7 assists in all competitions for the Spanish club. His current contract with Barca will expire in 2021 and it has a mammoth release clause of €125m (FCB).
In your opinion, should Klopp sign Ivan to replace Coutinho?

Rakitc is far better than coutinho, though depending on the role. But Rakitic is better

Like with every player it depends upon the price. His buy-out clause is about £100m which is beyond preposterous but if we could get him for £35m then I’d be all in favour of getting him. He’s not good enough to warrant spending our entire budget on him but he is a good player.
After the shambles of our defensive performances against Watford and Hoffenheim we desperately need new centre-backs and a proper defensive midfielder and they should be priorities.
Also, a striker capable of 20 goals a season would be ideal, with Mane, Salah and Firmino rotating for the wide positions. Truly, I think we can let Coutinho go IF we get a top striker as Mane and Salah both look superb out wide.
Sadly, I think we’ll end this transfer window in profit again, if Coutinho leaves, and with known weaknesses STILL there. Pathetic really . . .

No i dont rate him. Dont want him, he’s got no pace either. Need someone dynamic.

FSG appoint a new guy in charge of transfer that had no experience at all. Yes man to the owners. All fans should pressure the owner to sack him

Sakho should be reintegrated into the squad immediately while VVD should be purchased whatever the fee. Our defence can cause heart attack any time

Seriously, LFC really need a CB, DM and a creative CM. This transfer sucks, no good signings at all, and the boss is comfortable with the squad. I dont see us making the top four with this squard
