Liverpool need to amplify the quality of their squad this summer and as far as the attack is concerned, they have been linked with more than a few quality stars.
Last night, we covered a report (via Sky, Mirror, Mail, Goal) claiming that the Reds are closing in to sign Roma star Mohamed Salah after agreeing deals with the player and the Italian club.
Another playmaker who has been linked with a move to Anfield is Spanish international and Real Madrid star Marco Asensio.
The 21-year-old attacking midfielder proved to be fantastic for the Spanish giants whenever he was given the chance to shine. However, he was mainly a bench warmer and wants things to change if he is to stay with the European Champions.

In all competitions, Asensio played 38 games, scored 10 goals and provided 4 assists. The issue is that he only started 18 times.
Earlier this month, Marca reported that he has agreed to sign a new deal which will have a release clause of 350 million euros. However, no official announcement has been made yet and his future remains unclear.
More recently, Diario Gol have reported that Asensio has offers on the table from Liverpool, Arsenal and Juventus. The Spanish source have claimed that the £40million rated (Star) ($51million) star wants Madrid to hand him a huge fresh contract and also guarantee him more game time or else he is ready to accept one of the proposals.
In your opinion, is Marco Asensio better than Mohamed Salah?
