French international N’Golo Kante made it into the PFA Team of the Year for his brilliant performances in Leicester’s title winning campaign last season.
The versatile midfielder moved to Chelsea last summer and since then, he has been absolutely world class. The Blues are currently leading the PL table by four points and Kante has been one of the most impressive players under the management of Italian boss Antonio Conte.
The rock solid midfielder has been a tireless performer for the Stamford Bridge club. In 31 league appearances, he has netted one goal and provided one assist.
This time around, he is not only in the Team of the Year but has deservedly won the PFA Player of the Year award as well. The 26-year-old star claimed (BBC):
“It’s a huge honor to be chosen by the other players. It’s the biggest honor to get this award.”
