Manchester United splashed huge amounts of cash last summer to reinforce their squad and they are planning to invest heavily again this summer.
According to reports (The Sun), Jose Mourinho is looking for a transfer kitty of 250 million pounds to strengthen his team in the summer transfer window.
He is very much interested in Monaco stars and wants to lure the likes of Tiemoue Bakayoko, Benjamin Mendy and Djibril Sidibe, who have a combined worth of 72 million pounds ($90million).
The former Chelsea boss sold Morgan Schneiderlin in the winter window and lacks a solid defensive midfielder in his team. Bakayoko has been brilliant for the Ligue 1 leaders this season and will be a fantastic signing for the Red Devils.
On the other hand, the Portuguese boss wants new fullbacks to improve his back line and the above mentioned Monaco duo have performed well in the current campaign.
Mendy is a left back, he has featured in 33 games for the French side this season, scored one goal and provided no fewer than 10 assists.
On the other hand, Sidibe is more versatile. The 24-year-old French defender can play on either side of the defense. He is mainly a right back but is equally effective when deployed as a left back. Overall in 41 appearances, the former Lille star has netted 3 goals and provided 6 assists.
As per the provided Sun link, Mourinho is also keen on signing the likes of Antoine Griezmann and Romelu Lukaku to amplify the quality of his attacking midfield and strike-force.
