Liverpool have Moved In to Get Versatile Player Signing Done

Liverpool have utilized James Milner in the left back position this season but they need a long term solution for that position and must sign a proven quality player this summer.
However, as per recent reports, the Reds are linked with young and talented fullbacks, who will most likely warm the bench if they move to Anfield.
Recently, we covered a report (via The Sun) claiming that manager Jurgen Klopp wants to hire the services of 16-year-old Fulham left back Ryan Sessegnon.
Now, reports in France (Tf1) suggest that the Merseysiders have moved in to sign another teenage fullback in the form of Olympique Lyon defender Jordy Gaspar.
The 19-year-old French international has broken into the first team of Lyon this season. He has made three senior appearances for the Ligue 1 side, two in the league and one in the Champions League.
Jordy is a versatile talent, who can effectively play on either side of the defense. He has also been utilized in the midfield.
As per the provided Tf1 link, Gaspar’s representatives have been in advanced discussions with Liverpool and AC Milan, who have sent multiple proposals to sign the youngster. The French source claim that even the likes of Fiorentina and Bayer Leverkusen are interested in luring him.
As mentioned above, Liverpool must sign a proven quality player to strengthen their back line. Someone like Riza Durmisi perfectly fits the bill.
