Arsenal are Looking to Sign $37million Star this Summer

Under the management of Arsene Wenger, Arsenal are in a turmoil at the moment and it will not come as any surprise if the French manager finally leaves the club this summer.
Last night, the North Londoners were absolutely dismantled at the Emirates by Bayern Munich in the Champions League. Even Alexis Sanchez was laughing at his own team.
The Gunners must reinforce key departments in the summer transfer window and reports suggest that they are considering a move to sign a new central defender in the form of England international and Middlesbrough star Ben Gibson (Standard).
Arsenal splashed the cash to secure the signing of Shkodran Mustafi last summer and the German international has formed a decent central defensive partnership with Koscielny. Not to forget, Wenger also lured another CB in the form of young Rob Holding from Bolton.
Arsenal have Gabriel and Mertesacker for the central defensive positions as well but the veteran Kaiser is past his best and should be sold. Gibson could be the one to replace Per at the Emirates, however, he is not going to come for cheap.
As per the provided Standard link, West Ham are also interested in signing the 24-year-old defender for whom Boro would demand a fee of 30 million pounds ($37million).
This season, Gibson has featured in 29 games (all competitions) and scored one goal for Middlesbroguh. In your opinion, should Arsenal sign him?
