After a series of disappointing results, Liverpool bounced back with a victory over Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League.
Next up, the Reds will face reigning PL champions Leicester City, who are struggling in the bottom half of the table.
After 25, games, the Foxes have only earned 21 points and are currently 17th in the league, only a single point above the relegation zone. On the other hand, Liverpool are fifth, only one point behind the Gunners.
As far as Jurgen Klopp’s team news is concerned, at the moment, seven players are out injured for Liverpool.
However, the good news is that the likes of Daniel Sturridge and Dejan Lovren are expected to be fit to face Leicester City next Monday (PhysioRoom).
The former Chelsea striker has been absent due to illness. On the other hand, the former Southampton defender has been out due to a knee injury.
Sturridge has mostly warmed the bench this season but Lovren has been an important member of the team under the management of Klopp. In his absence, Lucas has mainly played in the central defense but even he is out with a muscle injury now. Therefore, Dejan’s return will be a massive boost for the Merseysiders.
