Mourinho Wants Man Utd to Agree Huge €36million Deal

As far as the latest reports in the media are concerned, the Red Devils are mainly interested in securing the futures of their current crop of stars.
Recently, the Old Trafford club have officially agreed a one year extension with Belgian international Marouane Fellaini.
Moreover, we covered a report (via The Sun) that 24-year-old Jesse Lingard has also agreed a new four year deal with the club.
Now, The Sun have claimed that Jose Mourinho is going to activate the clause in David De Gea’s current contract and give him a bumper pay rise as well. Currently, the Spanish international earns £180,000-a-week and his contract will expire in 2019.
As per the provided Sun link, United are ready to extend his contract next summer and then he will be making £200,000-a-week, £31.2million (€36million) until 2020.
The former Atletico Madrid star is arguably the best goalkeeper in the world and has won United’s Player of the Year award for a record three successive seasons. He surely deserves a new deal more than anyone else.
