Do Arsenal Really Need Tiemoue Bakayoko?

Yesterday, Arsenal officially agreed new deals with Coquelin, Koscielny and Giroud. They must also look to sign new quality players to reinforce the squad this month.
We recently covered a report (via Le10Sport) claiming that Liverpool and Arsenal have moved in and contacted Monaco to sign their highly rated defensive midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko this month.
Here, our focus is on Arsenal and their midfield.
The 22-year-old French international is a quality player and that is why top clubs are interested in signing him and why the Ligue 1 side do not want to lose him and rate him around 40 million pounds (The Times). Still, do the Gunners really need him?
Arsenal splashed the cash in the summer transfer window to sign a top quality defensive midfielder like Granit Xhaka from German side Borussia Monchengladbach.
Moreover, they already have a strong holding midfielder in the form of Francis Coquelin and even Egyptian international Mohamed Elneny has proved to be effective in the DM role.
In such a scenario, it will be absolutely baffling if Arsenal spend a huge fee and sign another holding midfield star in the form of Bakayoko.
If Wenger does have the funds available to sign new players then he must spend it on securing a right fullback because they seriously lack quality depth in that position.
