Chelsea are heavily linked with a move to sign Spanish international and Swansea star Fernando Llorente.
The veteran striker who was part of the World Cup 2010 winning squad is keen on joining the Premier League leaders this month (via The Sun).
Now, according to the latest update provided by Sky sources, Chelsea boss Antonio Conte wants to hire the services of the former Bilbao center forward but no contact has been made between the two clubs as yet.
The Blues boss was the one to lure Fernando when he was in charge of the Old Lady. The Spaniard joined Swansea last summer and so far he has scored 6 goals in the league for them.
As per the provided Sky link, journalist Guillem Balague is sure that the Italian boss wants Llorente at Stamford Bridge, moreover, Sky in Italy claim that a swap deal involving Belgian international Batshuayi and Llorente is moving closer.
The 22-year-old former Marseille striker surely needs to leave the Blues for first team football. After completing his big money move last summer, he has only warmed the bench. Michy has been part of the squad in all 20 PL games this season but could not even start a single game.
Goes without saying that Llorente will also warm the bench if he joins Chelsea because no one can replace Diego Costa who is the top scorer in the PL at the moment.
Sky also claim that it is not clear whether Michy and Llorente would move permanently, or on loan, or one loan and one permanent. We shall see how the transfer saga unfolds.
