How $208,000-a-week Star will Line up After He Has Signed for Man Utd

Manchester United have been interested in signing James Rodriguez for a long time and reports suggest that they have a real chance of signing him now.
Yesterday, we covered a report (via Mirror) claiming that the Colombian playmaker wants to leave Real Madrid and sign for the Red Devils in this winter transfer window.
The South American has been a bench warmer under the management of Zidane and currently earns (Star) around £170,000-a-week ($208,000-a-week).
As per our link provided above, Jorge Mendes is already in talks to complete James’ Old Trafford move. The question is, after completing his move, how will he line up in the Man United starting XI?
Manager Jose Mourinho has got a lot of options in his attacking midfield with stars like Mkhitaryan, Martial, Mata, Depay and Lingard around. Moreover, the likes of Rooney, Rashford and record signing Pogba are mainly utilized in attacking midfield as well.
Paul has been impressive in the No. 10 position for the Red Devils and he is free to move into the midfield as well. On the other hand, Mkhitaryan is arguably better than all other United playmakers and mainly starts on the right hand side of the attack under Mourinho.
Like Mkhitaryan, James is a versatile star who can play anywhere in the attack. Hence, we expect Rodriguez to partner Pogba and Henrikh in the attack behind Zlatan and play on the left hand side of the attack in Mourinho’s 4-2-3-1 formation.
United are close to signing Victor Lindelof (via Mirror) so he has been added in the lineup as well.

  1. Patrick Malox Neequaye says:

José Mourinho can play Paul Pogba and Herrera at the defensive midfield with James Rodriguez behind Zlatan Ibrahimovic in the attacking midfield while Juan Mata and Henrik Mhikitaryan operate from both the right and the left flanks, Anthony Martial, Marcus Rashford, Michael Carrick/Bakayoko, Luke Shaw and Nelson Semedo will warm the bench if possible but should in case we are able to purchase Antoine Greizmann then Juan Mata/Zlatan Ibrahimovic could come as substitute
