Klopp Wants €50million Playmaker, Liverpool Have Approved Transfer Funds

Liverpool are in the market to sign someone to replace star playmaker Sadio Mane who has joined Senegalese national side for the African Cup of Nations.
Numerous attacking players are linked and once again German playmaker Julian Brandt is in the limelight as well.
According to German source SportBild (magazine column image provided below), Liverpool’s board have approved transfer funds worth €47million for Jurgen Klopp to reinforce his squad in the winter transfer window.
SportBild have mentioned a few attackers that Liverpool are looking to sign and the Bayer Leverkusen playmaker is first in the column. The 20-year-old Kaiser can play on either flank and also as a secondary striker.
This season, in 22 games, Julian has directly contributed in 9 goals (3 goals and 6 assists) and the magazine says that the Bundesliga side will want around €50million for their rising star.
Arsenal’s Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Inter Milan’s Gabigol are mentioned as well.
The Merseysiders have been linked (via Mirror) with Bundesliga attackers like Christian Pulisic (Dortmund) and Emil Forsberg (RB Leipzig), however, surprisingly, the German source have not mentioned the duo at all.
Klopp needs to spend to strengthen his attack this month but it is highly unlikely that the former Dortmund boss will spend a fee of €50million on a single player.
