Man Utd Ready to Get $46.6million Signing Done in Days

Another day another story about Victor Lindelof’s move to Manchester United from Portuguese champions Benfica.
As per the reports going on in the media, it is perhaps safe to say that the Swedish international will be a Red Devil soon.
According to Daily Star, Manchester United are ready to complete and announce the signing of Victor Lindelof in the coming days. The Red Devils are hopeful that the £38million ($46.6million) signing will be finalized before the New Year.
The 22-year-old center half has been a key member of the Benfica squad for quite some time. He helped them win the Primeira Liga title last season.
Moreover, he has also been influential this season as Benfica sit at the top of the table with a four point lead after 15 games.
As per the provided Daily Star link, a contractual disagreement between Benfica and Vasteras has delayed the deal but United still hope the player will be signed before new year.
Star have also revealed that the Swedish defender is expected to wear the No.2 shirt at Old Trafford, previously owned by the legendary Red Devil Gary Neville.
Summer signing Eric Bailly will be leaving for the AFCON next month hence Mourinho needs to reinforce his back line and Lindelof will be a top addition.
