Forget Virgil – Liverpool Want Star CB, €41million Could Get Signing Done

Jurgen Klopp DortmundLiverpool are scoring goals for fun but they are also conceding goals regularly much to the despair of the supporters.
The Reds are in the market to sign a quality center half and numerous top names are in the limelight.
Southampton star Virgil van Dijk is heavily linked but lately Daily Mail have reported that the Reds will not be pursuing his signature in the January transfer window.
On the other hand, Daily Mail claim that Liverpool want German star defender Antonio Rudiger and are in a battle with Chelsea and both Manchester clubs to hire the services of the Roma star.
The Italian giants are looking to cash in on their prized asset to meet UEFA’s Financial Fair Play regulations and an offer of 35 million pounds (€41million) or more could persuade the Giallorossi to sell (Daily Mail).
The 23-year-old star is a versatile talent who can play in the left back position as well. Just over a month ago, Rudiger has returned from injury. This season, he has played 9 games, scored a goal and provided an assist for the Serie A side.
He was a key member of the Roma side last season and has the quality to improve Jurgen Klopp’s back line.

  1. Ashley says:

Yes Yes Yes Please or even Sule but I wouldn’t mind Van Dijk either but I really thought Klopp wanted Sule for some time Now ?? And the other CD was Jonathan Tah ??? Rudiger can also play LB which is a bonus but wondering how far Gomez is away from but wondering if Klopp will make Gomez play under 21s for quite a while first ??.
