Conte Ready to Finally Get Versatile Star Signing Done for Chelsea

antonio-conteChelsea registered their seventh consecutive win in the Premier League after beating Tottenham Hotspur at Stamford Bridge on Saturday.
The Blues are on top of the table with 31 points from 13 games, a point ahead of Liverpool and next opponent Manchester City.
In the summer transfer window, Conte wanted to reinforce every key department for the Blues and he lured a striker (Batshuayi), a midfielder (Kante) and two defenders (Luiz and Alonso). However, despite all efforts, the Italian boss could not strengthen his attacking midfield.
Chelsea were interested in signing James Rodriguez in the summer but the move did not happen and now reports (Daily Express) suggest that Conte is ready to finally bring him to Stamford Bridge.
The 25-year-old Colombian international is one of the best attacking midfielders around but Zidane does not really prefer him at Real Madrid. James has only started 6 games in all competitions this season, scored 1 goal and provided 7 assists.
As per the provided Express link, Rodriguez wants to leave the Bernabeu and Conte is looking to beat Mourinho and sign the versatile star. Moreover, the former Juventus boss also wants to lure Kondogbia from Inter Milan.
The World Cup 2014 top scorer can play anywhere in the attacking midfield and will largely improve Chelsea’s attack.
