Arsenal Set to Seal $18million Deal – Terms Agreement Close

Arsenal drew their second game on the trot in the Premier League and are fortunate to still be two points behind league leaders Liverpool who failed to win against Southampton yesterday.
The Gunners still need to improve big time if they are to win their first PL title after 2004. For that to happen, the North Londoners must hold onto their star players and also reinforce the squad in the winter transfer window.
Reports have indicated that Arsenal are very serious about sealing a new deal with record signing Mesut Ozil.
Two days back, French source L’Equipe reported that Arsenal are close to agreeing a new deal with Les Bleus center half Laurent Koscielny very soon, a deal that could be sealed before the game against PSG on Wednesday and will expire in 2020.
At the moment, the 31-year-old is currently earning £70,000-a-week and we understand that Kos will not be getting any pay rise on what could likely be his final contract with the Gunners.
Hence, Koscielny will be signing a deal that will make him earn £14.6million ($18million) in the next four years. The veteran star is arguably Arsenal’s best defender and deserves extension.
