Since the appointment of Argentine manager Mauricio Pochettino, Tottenham have been impressive and youngsters had a key role to play in their progress.
England international Dele Alli has been sensational and Pochettino has been keen on promoting the talented starlets.
If the latest reports are anything to go by then Spurs are interested in signing another young playmaker in the form of Turkish international Murat Saglam who plays for German Bundesliga side Wolfsburg.
Saglam’s agent Muzzi Ozcan told Turkish source Aksam that Spurs keen on signing the 18-year-old attacker. Muzzi claimed:
“Murat is a very talented player, a modern offensive midfielder, especially Tottenham are very interested in (signing him). I can say that for now.”
The teenage starlet has been in top form for Wolfsburg in the junior Bundelisga. In ten starts, the youngster has directly contributed in no fewer than seven goals two goals and five assists).
Murat is mainly a central attacking midfielder but can effectively be utilized out wide on the flanks as well.
