Klopp Moves in to Finally Seal €94,000-a-week Player Signing for Liverpool

Klopp Boom BannerRecently, Liverpool have been heavily linked with Norwegian international Martin Odegaard. The talented starlet currently plays for European Champions Real Madrid.
The Reds were interested in hiring the services of the teenage sensation last year. However, the youngster opted to join the Los Blancos instead (AS).
If reports in the media are anything to go by then Liverpool are looking to finally secure his services and have made an offer to complete a loan deal with the Spanish giants.
Daily Star cite reports in the Spanish media (Marca and AS) claiming that Liverpool have moved in with an offer to secure a loan move for Odegaard who is keen on joining the Merseysiders as well.
Last season, the 17-year-old versatile attacking midfielder featured in 38 games for Real Madrid Castilla and directly contributed in 8 goals (1 goal and 7 assists). Since moving to the Bernabeu, Martin has only played one senior game for Real.
Not to forget, Odegaard is getting £80,000-a-week (€94,000-a-week) at Real Madrid (Telegraph).
Liverpool will probably be looking for a loan deal in which Madrid will continue to pay his high wages.

This loan move is a wrong decision – Martin Odegaard rejected LFC and opted to join Real Madrid, we should give chance to our young players to get first team experience instead of developing players for Real Madrid.

  2. SOKODO GERALD (UGANDA) says:

it is not a good move as i see, because we loaned young players like the likes of C. Branagan, etc who are atleast mature and have the experience of the league, then why again a 17yr old, please focus on mature players now with good quality and experience to take liverpool back at european level. BUT apparently,LFC need a left back, holding midfielder and a good striker since Sturradge is injury prone

This is a nonsense rumour. Odegaard rebuffed Liverpool for RM last year. Why on earth would anyone in their right senses take him on loan? He will not be in the first team squad so all it would entail would be to train him the Klopp way and he goes back to RM ! Absolute idiocy…..We have our own who need the time rather than have it wasted on this boy.

I believe this is a brave move by Klopp. Odergard is not only the most talented youngster in World football ,his crossing is exceptional, he is also first team ready. A two year loan is not out of the question and at the end of it he might realise what a mistake he made joining Real in the first place (or maybe he already has).I hope this comes off because if he had of signed for us instead of Real, there would have been none of this sour grapes I’m hearing now.Brendan rogers could not attract top players but Klopp can and i think this is the difference. YNWA.

Correct. “Most talented youngster in world football”. In klopps capable hands. If it’s only for a year and real r footing th bill, who in their right mind wld argue. He’s rotting on Madrid bench, what does it matter if he rots here instead? He won’t tho. Odegaard and coutinho = pure devestation! He’ll b injured in 10mins anyway, ride th sidelines and b gone. I’d still take him
