Tottenham Hotspur are looking to reinforce the quality and depth of their squad by signing an attacking midfielder this summer and a new name is in the limelight.
The North Londoners are close to hiring the services of French attacker Nkoudou from Ligue 1 side Olympique Marseille.
Now, according to reports (Mirror), Spurs are ready to move in with an offer to secure the signature of young Aston Villa playmaker Andre Green.
The teenage England international, who will turn 18 in less than 48 hours, is mainly a winger but he can also play as a central attacking midfielder and as a secondary striker as well.
Last season, the versatile starlet featured in 14 games for the U-21 Aston Villa side and directly contributed in four goals (2 goals and 2 assists). Back in March, Green played against Spurs and Swansea City for the senior side in the Premier League.
In your opinion, should Spurs sign Andre Green?

Don’t understand the club signing a another young player that’s gonna take years too become a first team regular !!! give alex Pritchard a chance at the club !! I can see this lad coming back too bite us some day he’s a talented lad
Pritchard is 23 coming up 24. Pochettino obviously doesn’t think he’s going to cut the mustard. You must think you know more than Poch. He earns £5.5m as Spurs manager. You should apply for a job as a Premiership manager when a vacancy arrives
What if he takes as long (short) as Deli Alli?
Sometimes talent isnt always enough, ravel morrison or adel taraabt anyone?
Why not try signing Lallana for right price;talented proven player!
Alex is an outstanding talent. I really can’t believe Pochentino will, let him go. Pritchard will go on to become a brilliant midfield player. He is two footed, can pick long and short passes, is good in the tackle and has a brain.
I think that we should rap up the N’koudo signing asap like today! Why all the delays! As regards Alex Pritchard,I do believe that he is talented enough to make the first team under Poch,if given the chance.
In Pochettino I trust!
& so should all you other merchants of doom!
Or if you’re that capable of being a Premier League manager….apply for the job as you obviously are better suited!
COYS!!
