Not Wijnaldum – Liverpool Set to Confirm Another Signing

Liverpool are mainly linked with a big money move to sign Newcastle United star Georginio Wijnalum.
The Dutch midfielder scored 11 goals and provided 5 assists for the Magpies last season and will largely amplify the quality of Liverpool squad.
However, the former Eredivisie star is not the only player close to joining the Reds. If reports are anything to go by then Liverpool will soon confirm the signing of former Arsenal goalie Alex Manninger.
According to Liverpool Echo, the Reds are set to announce the capture of the 39-year-old Austrian goalie on a one-year deal.
Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has loaned out three goalies this summer. Danny Ward has joined Hudderfield Town, Adam Bogdan joined Wigan Athletic and Ryan Fulton moved to Chesterfield.
Now, the Merseysiders only have two goalkeepers in the form Mignolet and new signing Karius. In such a scenario, another shot stopper had to be signed and Echo claim that Manninger will sign a contract with the Reds.
