"New Arsene Wenger" – Tottenham Fans React to Van Gaal's Remarks

Manchester United’s pursuit of Champions League football suffered a huge blow yesterday when Spurs absolutely dismantled the Red Devils at White Hart Lane.
The North Londoners are once again seven points behind league leaders Leicester City after the impressive victory over Manchester United. Pochettino’s men scored 3 goals in 5 minutes to humiliate Louis van Gaal’s side. Perfect drubbing after arriving late.
Even after the heavy defeat, Louis van Gaal claimed that Manchester United are still ahead of Tottenham (Telegraph).

At the moment, Manchester United are 5th in the Barclays Premier League, four points behind neighbors Man City who occupy the fourth place and no fewer than 12 points (with a game in hand) behind Tottenham Hotspur.
Still, the Dutch manager thought that it was perfectly sane to say that Manchester United are ahead of Spurs.
Tottenham fans obviously had other ideas and reacted on twitter to Van Gaal’s remarks. Here are a few tweets.
