Last season, Tottenham striker Harry Kane deservedly won the PFA young player of the year award.
The England international scored 21 goals and provided 5 assists in 34 league games for the North Londoners and earned the title.
However, this season, it is highly likely that Everton striker Lukaku will beat Kane to the title.
Oulala have shortlisted four players who are favorites for the PFA player of the year award and stats suggest that Lukaku is leading the race to win the coveted prize.
The Belgian international has scored 18 goals and provided 5 assists in 28 games this season and without him, the Toffees would have been in the relegation zone. The stat comparison can be seen in the infographic provided below.

To what extent does Lukaku press from the front? How well does he link up play? Does he bring others into the game? How far does he run in pursuit of these aims? Genuine questions…not knocking Lukaku. And to what extent does Kane not scoring for first seven games, probably due to playing in under-21’s tournament in summer and missing preseason training, effect things?
Best to watch players play as stats can only tell so much.
