4-2-3-1: Man United's Strongest Possible XI vs Derby

After a disappointing defeat suffered at the hands of Southampton last weekend in the Premier League, Manchester United will hope to bounce back with a win in the FA Cup against Derby County.

Defense is United’s major dilemma and it is likely that Louis van Gaal will opt for youngsters like Varela and Borthwick-Jackson to start in their respective fullback positions.

Smalling and Blind should form the central defensive partnership again to support the youngsters. Morgan Schneiderlin and Marouane Fellaini should start in the midfield for the Devils.
As far as the attack is concerned, summer signings Anthony Martial and Memphis Depay should start on the flanks. Spanish international Ander Herrera will probably start in the No. 10 position behind the lone striker Wayne Rooney.
