Tottenham are in search of a forward to reinforce their strike-force this winter and few quality names are in the lime light.
Spanish international Alvaro Morata is currently linked (Talksport) with the likes of Spurs and Arsenal.
On the other hand, reports (Mirror) suggest that Spurs are keen on signing Turkish international and Galatasaray star Burak Yilmaz.
Tottenham must forget about luring the 23-year-old Morata this month since he is a rising star and will surely cost a lot. Moreover, Spurs need an out and out striker and he is a versatile attacker who can play in multiple attacking positions. Spurs already have more than a few flexible playmakers
Yilmaz fits the bill for Tottenham. He is a natural center forward who has scored 156 club goals in his career so far. This season, the 20-year-old star has netted 9 times in 20 games (Transfermarkt).
Talksport claim that the the player reportedly wants to leave Gala as well and has handed in a transfer request. Spurs should not waste time and must act swiftly to lure him this month.

My god you guys at Soccerisma are awful researchers.. First Morata (which is off the table due to transfer fee being way out of our range) and now Yilmaz, who is 30, not 20 as you have written and is completely NOT the type of player that fits with Spurs transfer policy. If anyone we’re more like to sign Dembele from Fulham, Wilson from Bournmouth or Berahino from West Brom. There are also talks of Sandro from Barcelona, all of which you should have known about if you’d done any amount of research.. Slack journalism.. but what more should we expect from this site!?!
