Klopp Eager to Close in & Seal Proven Quality Signing for Liverpool

Liverpool have been quite busy in the winter transfer window and have already sealed the signing of Serbian midfielder Marko Grujic. The Reds have also lured center back Steven Caulker on loan.
Now, if reports (CalcioMercato) in the media are anything to go by then Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp is keen on signing a proven quality star in the form of Ilkay Gundogan.
Klopp knows all about the qualities of the German international as Ilkay was a crucial part of Jurgen’s team that won the Bundesliga and reached the Champions League final.

This season, Gundogan has featured in 28 games for Dortmund, scored 2 goals and also provided 5 assists while playing as a central/defensive midfielder (Transfermarkt).
Liverpool already have the likes of Lucas, Allen, Henderson, Milner, Can and Grujic (on loan till the end of the season). Hence, they really should not be focusing on signing another midfield.
