If reports are anything to go by then Liverpool are closing in to seal brilliant deals to sign talented duo in the form of Inter Milan’s Mateo Kovacic and Real Madrid’s Denis Cheryshev.
The Reds were eager to secure the signing of Croatian star Kovacic early on in the transfer window and but failed. However, as per the provided link, they are lining up a fresh move to finally sign the talented midfielder.
Moreover, Metro cite reports in Spain claiming that Liverpool are in talks to sign Russian playmaker Denis Cheryshev.
The 24-year-old attacker has never got a fair chance with Real Madrid. However, last season he had an impressive season on-loan with Villareal and proved that he is a quality star.
It will be fair to say that signing Cheryshev does not make sense as Liverpool already have more than a few top attackers. The Reds have not signed a complete midfielder after letting Gerrard leave and Kovacic can be the perfect addition.
