Not One, Arsenal Closing in to Seal Brilliant Double Deal

If reports are anything to go by then Arsenal are closing in to seal brilliant double deal by signing Real Madrid stars Karim Benzema and Lucas Silva.
Over the past few weeks, the Gunners have been heavily interested in signing Benzema. Daily Mail suggests that Arsenal are ready to break their transfer record to finally sign the French star striker.
Last season, the former Lyon forward scored 15 goals and provided 11 assists in 29 league games.
On the other hand, Metro cite reports in Spain claiming that the Gunners are very keen to sign Brazilian international Lucas Silva from the Los Blancos as well.
The Samba star mainly plays as a central defensive midfielder and joined Real Madrid last January. However, since his move, the 22-year-old Silva has mostly warmed the bench and could only start four games.
Like Coquelin, Lucas Silva is a brilliant tackler as well and will improve the quality and depth of Arsenal’s squad.
