69 Goals, 34 Assists – Liverpool can Now Seal Superstar Signing

Liverpool have already signed two forwards this summer in the form of Danny Ings from Burnley and Christian Benteke from Aston Villa.
However, the Anfield club are still linked with another striker who was one of the best goalscorers in Europe last season.
The player in discussion is French international and Lyon star Alexandre Lacazette.
Metro cite reports in France claiming that Liverpool can now seal the signing of the 24-year-old Les Bleus star after Lyon told the forward he can leave this summer.
As per the above given link, even Arsenal are chasing Lacazette but the Reds are planning 21.2 million pounds move to bring him to Merseyside.
Alexandre has netted 69 goals and provided 34 assists in 187 appearances for the Ligue 1 side thus far. Last season, he directly contributed in 39 goals (31 goals, 8 assists) in 40 games for Lyon.
Surely the French international will further improve the quality of Liverpool’s strike force but the Reds also have Origi and star striker Sturridge in the squad. Hence it makes no real sense why they will splash cash to sign Lacazette.
