Liverpool will finally get rid of Raheem Sterling much to the delight of Anfield faithful but the replacement is a major concern.
Although Reds have signed a top quality playmaker in the form of Roberto Firmino from Hoffenheim, they are still in the market to add another attacker and Real Madrid’s Denis Cheryshev might be the one to arrive at merseyside.
Liverpool Echo reported yesterday that Reds have no such interest in the 24 year old Russian international but reports in the Spanish media today suggest otherwise.
According to Fichajes, Liverpool are close to acquiring the services of Cheryshev as the Reds could have made an offer of $33m that is likely to be accepted by Real Madrid.
Denis has only featured once for Real Madrid first team but was a key star for Villareal on loan last season.
In 40 games for the Yellow Submarine, the left winger directly contributed in no fewer than 18 goals (7 goals, 11 assists).
In your Opinion, should Liverpool sign Denis Cheryshev?

Despite all of Rodgers’ weaknesses, he seems to be able to get the best out of players not considered to be good enough by other managers – Daniel Sturrdige springs to mind. i must concede that The Studge was not able to affect the EPL at all last season through injury, but before then, he proved to be a very astute signing. Something about this lad Cheryshev intrigues me in the same way that Sturridge did before he came to Anfield. Looking at the amount of money spent on other unproven entities, this lad has some exposure to rop-flight football, and has proved effective at that level, and so could prove to be another Sturridge or Coutinho.
All I want is Marco Reus @ LFC . Nothing more to add to our attack, he’s fast, effective, and can also think fast on the ball. that’s the kind of player I think can help solve our scoring ability.
Please Rodgers we want Pedro or Rues, then Lacazette or Higuan as top striker.. Then we are title contenders.
Mr. Rodgers please try to bring Reus to Anfield.
If Reus is in the market we will be silly if we don’t buy him. German players are normally very disciplined and possess good technical abilities. Isn’t he playing in a similar position as Tony Kroos? If so, we would still need a top class striker. Is Benteke the answer?
