Well, I am not really sure what to say after that first 45 minutes. Liverpool could have been 2-0 down early on, they came back strong and should have scored at least 1. It was an over hit pass Sterling but those kind of opportunities you need to put away. You did have a couple of other good chances but could not take them. You want a big money contract then you have to step up and do a darn sight better. The defense on the other hand including Lucas and Mignolet has been shockingly bad. You made 2 good saves Mignolet but if you gift the opposition a goal then that undoes it all. Defenders cannot defend by jumping up, turning their backs and taking their eyes off the ball. What is that?? I can only hope that Rodgers read them the riot act during half time because if they don’t pull goals back, it could be an absolute “white-wash” after 90 minutes and any chance of possible Champions League will have disappeared.
